Technical Committees are vital for ICOLD. During the annual meetings of ICOLD the meetings of the Technical Committees are core business. The technical Committees draft the bulletins (guidelines and good practice) of the specific topic of the Committee. The General Assembly approve the bulletins to publish. In addition to the Technical committees the Regional Clubs are set up. EURCOLD is one of the regional clubs.
